Does anyone have an EGR hood protector

I have an old one on my 2001 4Runner and it had a crack so EGR sent me a new one (outstanding customer service and they honored the lifetime warranty). However the new one is different than the old. The old had 6 screws that held it on and did not have any need to protect the paint since it didn;t touch. This was why I bought it six years ago. The new one looks like it has two screws in the center and plastic tabs on the end, EGR said they changed the model but I am trying to figure out if I got the correct one. The model number of the new one is 304651WB

If this is the same one Burtman sells, then it is exactly as you describe - two screws and two clips hold it in place.

GRRRRR!!!! The old one only lasted since 2000 with no problems...

I have an AVS version and it hugs the hood nicely but doesn't touch the hood and no need for bumpstops.

Which one do you have. I saw a Lund is parking lot today and it was not as low as my original

My I have 2 on 2 of mine. The one I know is a Lund. I have to see what the other is..I wonder if they are lifetime as mine both have chunks missing.
