Actually the price sounds a little high considering it has 250k on the body AND 160k on the engine hmmm. And "We get stopped once per week by random people commenting on the condition of this car and the amazing paint" REALLY??? Someone took a bad course in marketing lol. If ur interested just check it out and see if the receipts match up to the maintenance schedule. And why the engine swap?

Why does it have a newer engine if the husband was so meticulous with maintenance. Why the newer engine if it only has 250,000 Kms/ 156,000 miles (I'm assuming she is stating kilometers rather than miles).

They don't; they look just like the ones that are on my 01.

$11k for that is way high! I paid less than that and have over 100k miles less then that too.

Yea, I've got an 01 as well. The newer lights are more clear and not as dull. The photo suggest these are dull but like I said, the photo is small and there is no way to tell for sure. I'm surprised there is no spoiler.

That is definitely not a 2001. Look at the taillights and grill. It all indicates it being a 2000. Maybe a 1999, but it is hard to distinguish the side mirrors in those crappy pics.

I just picked up on what they said, "14 years of full Toyota service records". Wouldn't that mean we should be in 2015 now?

Yeah those are not 2001+ taillights and neither is the grill.

The big red flag to me is the new engine after 90K miles. No 4Runner should need a new engine until about 500K - give or take a few hundred thousand. Also, as much as I like 4Runners, no 2001 is worth 10K+ no matter the condition.
