Does the white (+) wire from batt have an integrated fusible link?

For one reason or another my white (+) wire from the battery to engine fuse box is short. I'm not sure of the cause (Something done by the previous owner? The terminal? The battery?), but at any rate I want to fix it.

I had planned to simply have a new cable made (appears to be about 4 or maybe 6 AWG) with ring terminals attached, but got to wondering if this may be one of those cables with an integrated fusible link? It appears to connect right to a large fuse, so I'm thinking its just a standard cable, but wanted to get a second opinion.

Everything looks normal to me. I just replaced this wire along with the other white one that goes to the back of the alternator. I've installed a larger alternator.
