Doing the lift mod work in CA bay area?

As a new owner of a T4R SR5 I am wondering if there are places in the San Jose bay area that can do these lift, suspension etc. mod works? Or do you guys all do them yourselves ? I don't have the space or the skills to take these on.

I got my lift done at 4Wheel Parts in SJ. They had a 1/2 labor install going on when I had it done. Also bought the warranty that covers anything they did for 4 years. Figured to have them do it so if Toyota tried to tell me something was wrong because of the lift I could say a "professional" did it and wasnt done in someones garage.

I was quoted around $7-800 for the install at the 4 Wheel Parts store in Oakland. Not really sure if that is a normal range for our area, but I just decided to do it myself and spend that money on something else. (I bought UCAs and lots of lights!)

Depending on the suspension you're buying and if you have kdss or not the install could take anywhere from 4-6 hours if you have a nice friend with a garage and the time to help you out. Then you may have a spare $800 to spend on some stuff like sliders, skid plates, tires, etc.

I called Toytec and ARB, did a lot of research, went down to 4 Wheel Parts and talked to the store manager for awhile. After all that I finally ended up buying from Toytec. I felt like the 4 Wheel Parts store here just wanted me to hand them $4k and be on my way. Maybe you'll have better luck at the SJ store.

And yes Josh does great work and loves working on cars and trucks. He will be doing some more welding and work on my truck soon.

I had my Icon suspension and tires/wheels done at the SJ 4Wheel Parts store. Completed as described, on time and at the agreed price. No issues so far.
