Dometic fridge power

so you're charging at home then taking the battery, or are you running the charger off the 120V outlet in the rear?

one thing to keep an eye on if you're not charging on the go is that that renogy battery is that i notice on the website they list the 10hr discharge capacity instead of the more typical (for automotive batteries) 20 hr discharge.

Yes I'll be charging it at home to start but I won't be taking the battery out to do so. The only time it will come out is during the real cold months of winter here in Montana and plugged inside to a maintainer.

The 10hr discharge that they list and not the typical 20hr was asked on Amazon and the asnswer was 102 or 104ah (can't remember exact) @20HR Discharge capacity. There website was the same price as on Amazon but I saved 10% giving them my email which came to $20 off on there site with free shipping. I ordered Sunday and they emailed me Monday it was shipped:frog:

Since we're on the topic of fridge power. Can I use the ARB wiring kit with a Dometic CFX40? The 12v adapter when unscrewed looks like it'll fit into the ARB DC socket that's supplied with the kit.

unless they've changed it it works but i don't think it latches in place like a marine style outlet so it might not be as sturdy

Since we're on the topic of fridge power. Can I use the ARB wiring kit with a Dometic CFX40? The 12v adapter when unscrewed looks like it'll fit into the ARB DC socket that's supplied with the kit.

I have the ARB wiring kit for my CFX and it screws in, keeping it secure. No wiggling or backing out.

those 2 blades go into the receiver and screw into place to lock. how do you screw in the dometic plug? my 12v cord is just a marine style locking plug.

The Dometic 12v plug that came with my cfx40 is just like the ARB one from your link.

hey guys. Just a quick question. Is there an extension cord with one female to 2 male outlet.

My current setup is as follows. I have a 2nd battery that runs the fridge when the truck isn't running. When I'm driving...the fridge is plugged to the cargo outlet inverter which runs the fridge. I also have a separate dc/ac inverter that is charging the 2nd battery when I'm driving.

When its at home, I unplug the fridge AC cord from the cargo outlet and plug it in the extension cord.

I'm looking for that extension cord that has one female to 2 male outlet since sometimes I forget to plug the ac cord back into the cargo outlet

any such cord out there? did a quick search with no success. Any help much appreciated. Thanks.
