door alarm system

Looking for door alarm system to supplement basic engine immobilizer.
Any suggestions?
Not desire auto start (heard it;s a hard install)
Heard Glass breakage not work if you have window tint (different frequency emitted)

Heard clifford best/ viper-lower end and python all from same company.
Any suggestions on releative inexpensive model?
Or any other suggestions?
I'll do my own install b/c do not want to spend alot.
