Door speaker rattle

I have a JBL door speaker in my 2014 Limited that has been buzzing/rattling since I bought it. It's gotten a little worse over time.

I finally took it to the dealer who said it was a bad speaker, they ordered a new one and replaced it last week.

But listening to the radio whenever there is bass sure enough it's still rattling, super annoying, what is going on!!!???

Take it back to them and tell them it's still rattling?

Mine has had the same problem as well. There are areas inside the door that contact and make the rattling sound. I temporarily fixed it with some shop towels but I think sound proofing is in my future.

I don't have pics now but I'll pop it open this evening and take a few.

Easy enough to figure out, just tap the outer door skin and see if you can hear the rattling. If not, pull the panel and look inside, could be the panel itself vibrating on the inner skin, or pieces to the window's motor/gears.

See if the noise is there with the window up and down (and any other spots along the way down/up). Try to do some diggin' before pulling it all apart.

As for pulling the door panel, super-easy process, takes all of about 3 or 4 minutes once you know where all the hidden screws are, you can find photos on here of where those things are at, as well as how to pop the little plastic covers away from each of them.
