DOT 4 brake fluid is cool in a 5th, right

Manual states DOT 3 or SAE J1703, but I'm assuming this would be fine?

Just looking for a sanity check. Sometimes the Toyotas surprise me with odd incompatibilities.

You're good, DOT 3 & 4 are compatible (just not backwards compatible, i.e. if a car takes DOT 4 you can't put DOT 3; but if it takes DOT 3, DOT 4 is okay to us

I was thinking of running DOT 5.1 in my 4th Gen, but I'll probably settle for some fancy shmancy DOT 4 in the future.
