Yeah dude we had a blast. The guy with the 1st gen pickup that was with us lives in sacto too so we will all have to meet up sometime.

Hopefully I'll have my rear tube bumper by then. Gonna Redo my sliders this weekend and eliminate the kick out:D. BTW you really need to drop a winch in that bumper..

I knew that was coming! hahahaha in time my friend, in time.
Yeah that kickout really got in the way for both you guys. Though- you get stuck on your sliders, and I dent my rocker panel! lol there's no winning

My lazy/procrastination factor has it's highs and lows lol I should have done it a long time ago. I'm gonna end up doing something exactly like ADH's sliders. Nice and simple and very flush..... whenever I.... get.... around..... .....to.....................it.

Thanks man and good luck on the T4R of the year, you got my vote!

Sucks you didn't make it, you better go next time!
Dude, you're just not drinking frequently enough if you're getting hangovers!! LOL

Mmmmm, I love me some wheelin' pics! haha

Great pics, looks like lots of fun! I agree with Blcktpgsr - You need some sliders on that thing ASAP. I wouldn't want to see it get a boo-boo on the trail. lol

CB Setup!

Midland 1001LWX 40 channel w/ weatherscan
Firestik Firefly 4'
18' Coax
Firestik HD Spring
Firestik Stud w/ coax connector
ODL Antenna Mount

Install was very smooth. I used a mini add-a-fuse for power. Didn't want to pull apart the dash to install the CB in the ashtray spot because I don't have anything to cut the plastic off in the back so I put it here (I have more than enough leg room btw):::

Headed out to see if I can find a used dremel so I can get some of this powdercoating off the mount so the antenna will ground. Also, probably going to drill a ground wire from the mount to the body.
Then tomorrow, going to get it tuned.

I am going to move it to the ashtray spot sooner or later though, but this works for now.

Nice CB set-up! If you get a used dremel you could get a cutting disc to move the CB to the ash tray spot. Although dremels like to melt plastic.

I like the exhaust routing too. Up and out of the way.
