Hey i have 94 SR5 With aluminum rims.....

I was told you can take rotory tool to them with a ceartain kind of attacthement...... that it would take out the small pitting that have invarious places...

Have any of you guys got your rim's gleaming with a rotory tool? like a dremel???

I want to give this a try but i could use some tips.... :bash:  :p

Okay, it might not get out the pitting out, but the Mother's PowerBall would certainly get it nice and shiny.

okay, i tried, spray-9, and a heavy duty nylon tooth brush, beleive it or not it got the dirt out of the pits, leave it sit for about a min. :p then wash the rims when your done to get the spray 9 residue off...

get's the dirt out, now i'll try the mothers mutha !!

Not on the rims, but I've been forced to use the dremel w/a wire brush attachment to remove the carbon build up on her Borla tail pipes...works like a charm...of course I nag her to detail the tips more often, I'd rather not make it a habit of using a wire brush...
