Got home today and shut off the truck, noticed later as I entered the garage to grab a beer that the DRL's were on. Tried fiddling with the switch a little, disconnect battery for a while but no luck. Came across this thread and 5 minutes later all fixed! Never liked the DRL's anyway. I turn my headlights on by habit when the vehicle starts.
For those of you looking for a picture - you don't need it at least for the 2000 year, just pull the battery and look against the fender wall. 2"x2" module with a cage around it, just disconnect the grey plug. Problem solved.
