DRL's on/off manually?

Hello all,

I am new to T4R.org and have signed on a few months ago, but am only now sending messages, too busy with school. The forum is great and I am learning more and more from everyone about my 4runner. Question is, Has anyone figured out how to manually turn on/ off the DRL's? I read the forum on turning them off and I just cut the wire behind the flasher but now I would like to have the option of turning them on/off when I want to, to add more light. Is there a way to bypass them from turning off when the headlights come on? Just to have that option like the thread about using the fog lights when you want to when all lights are on.

I thnk you need to just keep reading the same thread that you started . . . the last few pages deal with how to turn on the DRLs whenever you want:

Check the DRL thread again. It clearly shows how you can add a switch to manually control the DRL lights regardless of what the other lights are doing.
