Drove cross-country nonstop then built a house this week

This is the view I'll inherit. Top of a hill, lake on more than 50% view.
I'm helping my dad and a crew of 3 build the house. It's overlooking a sweet lake in Pickens County, South Carolina. Got to use 4x4 lo with locked diff to go up the steep rough cut drive pulling building supplies up with the trailer. Not one ounce of stress. It idled up at 1000 rpm nice and smooth.

Beautiful location for a house. Have y'all finished building it or are you just starting? If just just starting, better get a move on before winter weather starts creeping in.

It's cozy with or without heat or ac so far. 10" thick basement walls. Hammock in the basement, solar panels for electric, generator for construction electric, running water and toilet just set up in basement today.

So much to do still. Most people hire contractors, but my dad is the contractor on this. I just learned Home Depot has free coffee by the contractor check out.
