DT headers 05-09 drivers side.

Shop is having difficulty getting to hole 3 and 4 (on top behind AIP rail) on DT headers. Hole 4 would be the back hole and 3 would be next one forward. The passenger side is done. Any suggestions short of cutting of the air injection rail. Is there a shop that you used that I could call. Many thanks.

I would try calling DT directly. Can you also post some pictures? I'm sure it will help me for when I change my headers out.

Did it myself but the trick was to use a mid length 14mm socket. There are shallow and deep well, but there's also a size in between. I just cut a deep well 12pt down to the right length. Also ratcheting wrenches are useful.

The only other thing I can think of is did they unbolt the motor mount to tilt it up? The instructions say to install the studs, tilt the engine up and hang the new header on. If they got the old nuts off they should be able to get them back on with the new header in place. It is tight but very doable.
