Duratrac C load
I have C-load Duratracs for my 2010 TE and love them. I went to Discount Tire with the intention to get a set of E-load (like most everyone else on the forums) but the tire guy talked me out of it. If you're not doing any hardcore off-roading and don't need the extra layers of protection I'd opt for C's. They are quieter, ride smoother, puts less pressure on your trans/brakes, and you'll squeak out a mile or two regarding MPG over the E's.
The weight of the Gen5 shouldn't be a consideration as the load capacity is for a single tire (which means you have at least a couple thousand pounds before reaching the collective tires' max capacity). And finally, if you have the option of any type of hazard insurance it will cover any damage you may incur (at least Discount Tire's policy does). I got my Duratracs for around $115 each after trading in my stock shoes ($95 trade-in).
This is based on my imperfect research and the info given to me from the Discount Tire guy. Hopefully more people with better knowledge of loads, etc. will also chime in. But if you ride is new I'd definitely look into trading in your stock tires sooner rather than later for the best deal.

much appreciated reply. Do you feel like the drive worse than the stockers? i have heard the C Load may have sidewall flex and changing lanes on highway may feel unsafe or squishy? true? or is this not the case?

They are definitely not as smooth as the stock tires but not too bad. I used to be a BFG AT guy and I can confidently say they are smoother and quieter than the BFGs. As for feeling squishy, there's definitely a speed range that the tire isn't the most comfortable (between 50-60MPH). There's a little vibration but below and above those speeds they are just fine. I think if I give them a bit more air it'll take care of this. Changing lanes is fine. I went from an Audi A3 3.2 Quattro S-Line to my 2010 TE so if I say handling is ok it's probably even better for those who are used to driving a truck/SUV (note: I did have a 1994 and 2001 4runner). Just remember that any tire as aggressive as the Duratrac will NOT improve the driving experience over stockers....low speed hum and heaviness/high speed buzz and less feel. But the truck looks badass with the Duratracs and that's what matters, right?
On a serious note, I did get the Duratracs because they look good but also for how good they perform on-road for an aggressive tire. If you want a good looker that's really quiet and handles on par with the stockers I'd suggest the SA's.

Similar to BuckeyeGen5 I went with the intention of getting the E rated Duratracs and was talked out of it and into the C's. I have been very happy with the tire but was even happier when I increased the air pressure from the 34-35 that the tire shop inflated them to up to 39 psi. A very noticeable difference and it drives even better now.
I would love to be able to do a back to back comparison with someone else who did go with the E rated tire to compare/contrast but ultimately I am happy with my choice (primarily due to the lower weight and hence mpg benefit).
