I'm trying to decide between a set of these in 315/70r17 or the MTRs, anyone ever ran these that big?

Hepar, where did you end up buying the tires from? And did you get the road hazard warranties?

Got them at Discount. No road warranties. I got them on my first set of BFG's way back in the day, but haven't gotten them on any set since. Figure that if I blow a tire, I'm still ahead by not having paid for it the past few sets.

Assuming basically average loads and builds, what is everyone using for PSI front/back?
I'm around 38/36 on C loads and I am curious if I am way off for daily driving...
I haven't done the chalk trick - just looking for some quick numbers.

That PSI is pretty close for all load ranges (C or E). Remember that the larger the tire, the more air volume and at the same PSI it will carry more weight than a smaller tire. Bigger tire, less PSI.

On our 4runners, there is no way you should be running max pressure in your LTs.
