Load range E is super heavy, my answer was so biased since I own duratrac's. But I do have a set of terra grapplers about to go on my 4runner

no i'm not sure honestly, he just told me about how his was setup and was not sure exactly how mine would turn out since his is so upgraded and whatnot anyways... haha a foot wide of tire seems disgustingly large, that's nearly the same size as the mud grapplers on Autbond's, and they stick out at least 3 inches! Thing Duratracs are going to fit my needs better altogether, now jus gotta decide on size....indecision will be the death of me....:rockthrow:

so what i think i'm gonna do is.... Buy all my suspension components (thinking daystar 2.5 and fj coils) and figure out how to get them all installed... Then have the tire place have both the 295/65 and 275/70 duratrac on hand. If the 295's have issues, i'll just go with 275's and be content:reddance::guitar2::boink:

Yea, im not sure if his 3.5" lifted amount was including the 1" BL...i'm assuming no by looking at the pictures. So that would be effectively 4.5" lift for the fenders and still 3.5" at the BM as they don't move. I'm guessing at minimum removal of front mud flaps, fender liner forward, and slight BM chop ...nothing too major.
BTW, I think Autobond was running 33x12.5s and a negative offset, which would be considerably wider
That would be the best/cheapest way to go. You should get towards 3.5 with that setup, which should put you up enough to squeeze in the 295s. If you had a setup to run a offset of ~+10, you could prob get away with mud flap removal and fender liner repositioning, but due to how far the spidertrax push the wheels out, the above modifications may be necessary.
Any idea when this may take place? I've been toying with the idea of these tires for a while and have yet to see them on a 06+. If yours work out, these will probably be my next tire/size. Worst case, you still get bigger tires

it will happen as soon as i can find someone who will sell me some FJ coils, cuz i can get the daystar off amazon, that's no big deal! I've PMed a few guys on the FJ forums, created like 3 different accounts yesterday just to pm one guy on each, kinda nutty... But yea, i'm very interested to see how it all pans out!!:jump: And even if the 295s give problems, the 275/70 will fill it out quite perfectly too!

keep looking on the FJC forum as they always have them for sale. I'll have some rear FJ coils for sale here in a few weeks. I'm getting new tires (85% sure 285/70-17 GY Duratracs) and want to lift the rear with Toytec Superflex rear coils and move my 5100s to the top setting with FJ coils in front. That should yield approximately 3/2 lift to fit my 285's. I might go to OME front coils down the road but will stick with my FJ up front for now.
