Does NOT work in its current state. Needs cleaned up and rebuilt. I took it apart, and didn't feel like messing with it. It is back together but the brushes are not in place; they are inside the housing.
Everything is inside, MINUS the two small brush springs, I may be able to find them, but I imagine not. They should be easily sourced at a hardware store.
There is no corrosion on the housing itself, inside there is some, which is why I replaced it. BUT, it is rebuild-able the corrosion isn't nearly as bad as this one that was rebuilt on Pirate4x4
E-locker actuator rebuild - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum
This would also be great for someone with a rusted or broken E-locker motor housing. The price is CHEAP, these motors cost close to $600 for the dealer and finding a used one is next to impossible. Shipping will be cheap, I can quote you once I have your location.
Thanks!
