I have a 96 4runner limited, auto, 4WD, 4:10 gears, and will be doing a swap from a wrecked 97 4runner SR5, 5 speed, 4WD with 4:10 gears I purchased for $750. My question/concern is, will everything associated with the e-locker from the 97 manual trans vehicle go into my 96 auto trans vehicle? Also, will I be able to use the e-locker function in 2WD and 4HI options; if not, how do I modify it to run in all ranges? Your help (and advice/tricks on making it easier) in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
