Just did the 12v constant mod and although it was a little frustrating getting all the bolts out with my walmart socket wrench everything seems to be working fine!
Can someone tell me what the two other connections were for on the relay? The jumper filled two of the slots but now two of them are open. What are they for?

I did the PFRAN interior LED light swap. Map lights, center dome, rear dome, four doors, and reverse lights (socket 921). Only took 15 minutes and a flathead screw driver (to pop off lenses). This is an easy inexpensive mod that you will benefit from pretty much everyday. Very bright & clean light. I am really satisfied with the results.

Front Grille
Thinking about replacing my front chrome grille on my 06 SportEdition with a Limited color matching black grille....they have a few on partsgeek but I'm a little skeptical if those are OEM or not. Does anyone have any insight on these?

Plastidip your chrome one black. If you get sick of it pull it off. Make sure you do 5-6 coats as directed and that stuff is virtually bullet proof.

Concerning the HCF delete and K&N drop in:
I put a K&N drop in air filter in, couldn't really tell a performance increase but I do think it made the engine sound a bit louder.
A few thousand miles later did the HCF delete, didn't notice much of a difference there either--was hopeful, but didn't notice much. If anything, (and maybe I just wasn't paying attention prior to the HCF delete) the engine doesn't rev to 5,000 at WOT, instead it goes to maybe 4,800? Nit picking? possibly. Not really sure, but between the two mods I didn't really notice much difference--if anything I *think* more was gained by the K&N air filter but--again--don't know if that "gain" is only in engine sound. Who knows. For reference, my engine has 182,000 miles on it--filter and HCF delete were done within the last 5,000 miles. I'm hoping I'll get a more noticeable *gain* from a spark plug change.
One thing I can say--without a doubt--the interior LED swap is a GREAT first step towards customizing your 4Runner!

Being the bearing/hub assembly off the damn knuckle is the hardest part. It's a pain to work it out. Other than that, easy peasy.

I know this sounds stupid but is there anything I have to pack with grease throughout this process, I also plan on replacing the grease seal on the inside of the knuckle as well.

Good question, and the answer is no. The bearings come greased unless you have some special grease you want to use instead. I'd suggest replacing the o-ring that goes around the bearing too. It seals between the knuckle and bearing. It's cheap.

I did footwell leds over the weekend. I am pleased with how they turned out. Really a simple job once I found JA's how to thread. I had a coupon for advance auto and found the leds there....only spent $10 on them. They're not the brightest, but they serve their purpose. They come on and off when the doors open or unlocked on key fob.
