Really glad to hear the springs changed the whole feel of the setup.
How is the up travel with the fenders? Did you cycle it before you mounted the coilovers again? Think there will be issues with the 35's and fender clearance?
I would have thought that stock tundra CV's would have been ok... if they have to be modded for more droop, that is news to me. Are they OEM tundra axles?
I always thought that a lot of the additional LT travel came from up travel. Is it really drooping out that much more than stock arms?
Going down the washboard road, how is the rear holding up against the front now?
Huh. Honestly I expected to HAVE to modify the axles. I just didn't have the boots and stuff at the time so I put the stock tundra CVs in to get it drive-able.

"We were mistaken when we first wrote that stock Tundra CV shafts could be used with the Total Chaos long-travel suspension without any modifications or additional parts. In order to allow the Tundra inner CV to operate through the entire range of the suspension travel, the sheet-metal where the stock inner CV boot mounting surface needs to be trimmed back and the stock CV boot must be replaced with a high-angularity Porsche CV boot that is available from Kartek (part number: KTKBAT101). "
On top of that I also talked to Solo and they said they recommend everyone use a diff drop spacer (which I already had) AND modify the axles to achieve full droop potential.
I have OEM tundra CVs.
I know I've seen people just throw tundra CVs in unmodified but I'm guessing they are either strapped way before full droop or something? People have done it but I haven't found anything to suggest that you are getting full use of the available travel that way. Like mentioned from several sources above I've gathered totally the opposite.
I haven't cycled the suspension without the coilovers in right now. I haven't installed the bump stops yet either so I'm not sure where they will end up right now. I'll have the new wheels/tires here next week so I should be getting the uptravel and bumps all set up shortly.
Most of the added travel honestly seems to be down travel. It's already very noticeably more than my mid-travel set up.... and I'm still only limited by the cv currently.
The rear is sad compared to the front... it never used to really bother me but now all the vibrations are felt from the rear and when driving over speed bumps, trail tracks, etc. The front consumes it and the rear feels saggy, bouncy. Definitely makes me want to upgrade the rear in the near future.
I'll have more numbers and information as I get it done. Right now I've still been in kind of a process packaging it all, getting odds and ends and dialing in the ride height and feel before I strap and bump everything and really finish it off.
