Probably would work, but there are better options there. 2.5" in the front is just way too much if you're going for "leveled" and leaving the rear stock. Daystar makes a spacer that'll give you ~2" of lift, and it costs $40. Even a 2" is a little much if you stay loaded down. Toytec makes a great 1" leveling spacer, it'll run ~$70.

I have a similar spacer and I didn't had a time to install it yet. Mine is 1.25" thick so I assume it will give about 2.5" of lift. I dont think it will make my 4Runner sit nose high as some memebers will say. Acording to my measurments I need atleast 2.5" of lift to level it out, this is why I got similar spacer. But my 4Runner is front heavy V8 and self-leveling suspension which means rear will never sag (regardles of a load). I also have X-REAS and thats where I see a little problem with a spacer like that compare to Daystar one with screw-on extendable studs to hold it in place. With this spacer you will have to rotate strut 180 degrees and thats not a problem if you don't have X-REAS, hydraulic hoses connected to the strut quite short and it might be a very tight fit or no fit at all for folks fith X-REAS. I want to install spacer but I don't feel like doing it twice :(

This seller has a 2" spacer for an FJ Cruiser that should fit. Get some FJ springs for all 4 corners (search ebay or the FJ forum) and this 2" spacer, and you should be sitting pretty.

I think this spacer will work better on models with X-REAS (no strut rotating required). I just don't understand why auction states "without X-REAS Suspension" I can't see why on this particular spacer X-REAS would be a problem. May be sellers dont really know what they selling, just like in original post seller states "4Runner with Xreas suspension will require a spring compressor during install" thats sounds like a BS to me. The only time you need spring compressor is to install preload spacer
