As did I. Got here today...They look nice. Though the Uni-ball is packed full of grease, so I will be wiping that out to put in Tri-flow.
They will be on my truck Saturday...fortunately the box didn't explode once I opened the package.
Fingers crossed.
youre screwed. they're from eBay so they will explode upon arrival, then due to the lack of zerks on the uniball itself your wife will leave you. after that the welds will break, because their is only one gusset, which will render you completely incontinent.

Has anyone seen/tried these. Incredible price. Probably not made of 4130 chromoly like the total chaos or camburgs but might be a viable solution for those on a budget.
they are made out of 4130 chromoly per the manufacturer, read through the thread and you'll see one testimonial

Are they not painted and coated with urethane (or whatever that incredibly thick clear coat on TC arms is)?
Tighten the UCA to frame long bolt to 85 ft lb and the bolt through the uniball to 100 ft lb.

They did not. I used a bit of critical deduction and TC's website

I think caliper paint would work well. It seems to be naturally thicker then regular paint. I would give them a good sanding prior though. The powder coat is quite thick so you will still have a good layer of protection.
Well I installed them as is. Thanks for the input on the paint recommendation. I just got home from a couple hour offroad test. Already received some wear on the red rubber where they bolt to the frame. The driver side needed a little more tightening on the bolt through the uniball. My torque wrench maxes out at 80 so I'm sure it wasn't quite to 100 at first. The steering sensitivity is gone and the are smoother on pavement. I plan to redo the alignment asap so after I'll post a picture of the specs.

Did you torque the long bolt after you lowered it to the ground and grease the bushing WELL? They will wear quickly if not done that way.
I too got mine in...
OK. So my only concern is how easily the slug adapter pressed into the knuckle. I will watch this, but I have to be fair...Im kinda overly sensitive with this. Anyways milage will tell

Did it come with all that grease already on there? I would wipe it off and use some triflow instead. Dont want the grease to attract all the sand and dirt that can ruin the uniball

These make me mad that I purchased TC arms. Do they make these for the 3rd gen too?

That is exactly my plan...I can't understand why they packed that full of grease. Oh, well... Im going to clean it all out this week.
My 4Runner is a 3rd Gen.

Hi, you and a few other members do talk about using Tri Flow, however i been looking at some of the Triflow products, and the one which is a dry lubricant (Tri-Flow Dry Lube) however they (the manufacturer) says "providing adequate wet weather performance", so i am wondering how often you need to lubricate when there is water on your path....?
