Rack mods

Has anyone tried to press a one inch bar flat on the ends and bolt to the rack to make Yakima products function on this setup. Just a thought of and looks like it might work.

Just got off the phone with Ecotechne and they apologized for all the mix ups. Everyone including 4th batch should get tracking number TODAY.

I'm going to keep the group buys at no more than 14 units since it goes a lot smother with smaller batches.

I never got a text as well. Anyway they can resend?

DHL was contacted by Ecotechne and they said they would send information over today. Sorry guys.

Also all the racks that where purchased in the west coast/ mid west will be shipped to my location for distribution. Those should all arrived next week week to my location.

Got my rack delivered! Thank you Rorck!

Also ordered the black stainless steel bolts and washers. I ordered 6 longer ones (1-1/2") in case I need to attach something else to those points on the rack.

I am interested. If I remember correctly, you mentioned the installation of your RTT wasn't quite a bolt-on deal. Do you have an install thread somewhere? I don't want to hi-jack this thread.

If you're on the west side of the states (and California qualifies for that description), your rack is going straight to Rorck, and he re-distributes once he receives it to save on shipping costs. On each group buy, the first ones to get them are the east coast guys, but if you're on the western side, you at least know yours are getting closer once you hear the ones on the east are starting to receive them. Took mine an extra week or 10 days after the east coasters in my group buy received theirs. A bit of patience is required, although having been in your shoes, I know how hard the wait is.
