Eibach needs a stock TRD PRO in SoCal

Very Nice!! waiting for it to cool down a bit (104* today) before I install the same springs and UCA's my top hat spacer is .400 about .750-.800 additional.

Did you happen to get before and after hub to fender heights.?? Very curious, especially with the adjustable rears, which I already have installed...

AMLOR

Thank you! I only measured ground to fender.

Stock fronts = approx. 35.25"
Stock Rears = approx. 36.5"

Lifted front and rears = approx. 39.25"

But I am going to raise the rears by another 0.5" for a little rake.

K4Run: looks great! Get some pics flexing that thing out with the tires stuffed!

I have all my parts except the 1/4” spacers. Hope to find some that can be delivered next week so I can do my install next weekend.

Do you know what caster you have on your alignment? What setting did they use on the SPC—2?

Also, are your spidertraxx on in these pics?

Nice! The extra height from the top hat spacers makes a big difference I think.

I'm not sure on the caster sorry, alignment was done by Stellarbuilt in Sacramento CA.

Yes the 1.25" spidertrax are installed in those pics.

I’m also eager to here offroad reviews and see pics. The overland/Offroad shop doing my alignment and new tires after I install the lift this weekend are trying to talk me out of 285/75/17 and into 285/70s... the gearing concern is starting to sway me to the ~33s....

I’m in the exactly same boat... awaiting delivery and deciding between 287/75 or 285/70. I am also getting pushed into the smaller option because it’s also my daily driver.

Are you doing UCAs? I was looking at the JBAs but am seeing that a spacer is needed for the larger size tire. But if I do the spacer I will likely have to trim more than I want... so many decisions lol! I am going to try just the springs and add the UCAs if I need them for alignment.

Good luck with the install!

285/70/17 + JBA UCA, no wheels spacers needed , TRD Pro wheels 0 offset about 3/4” space in between tire and UCA. Just saying

If that’s the case I’m going to go with the JBAs as well. Please let us know if you have any issues with the install thanks!!

0 issues, and you can get Caster up to 5+ easy with 2.5”+ lift. Good luck!

Horizon: I’m doing an extra 0.5” over the 1.6” in the front using toytec strut shim. Also doing around 1.75” rear with Dobs c59-505. If you don’t want to cut a ton and you plan to take it offroad, I wouldn’t get the 285/75. You’d need new wheels or spacers to clear the JBAs with that tire size.

My shop is now telling me that even if I go 285/70 it could rub the SPC arms when wheeling it. HavenÂ’t been able to find validation of this. I was planning to do spidertraxx either way so no big deal. Had the 285/75 KO2s lined up but having big time second thoughts now since I like wheeling it at Rausch Creek and IÂ’m worried it will rub way too much when things get stuffed with only this small amount of lift.

Thanks for the input - That was my initial concern with the JBAs. I think the 285/75s are out for me. Going to look at the 285/70 or even 275s. I really don't want to lose too much drivability.

Now I just have to find a shop to install these in the Sarasota FL area. If anyone has a recommendation please let me know.

Looks GREAT K4Run. Thank you for the pictures! Did you choose the load leveling springs because you anticipate swapping the rear bumper out?

Yea, I really just need to know if there's any off-road rubbing under flex to make the choice. Just the lift itself would serve me well, but it's no fun if you dont throw the biggest tires that fit while you're at it. 285/70s would be my max, but no major regrets if it has to be 275's either.

Yeah I’m just waiting for my install next week. Holding off on the UCA’s since guys are getting plus 3 on the caster. I’m not even mounting my SCS wheels yet till I see what measurements are after done. I want to check to see with tires turned with stock size tires before and after lift. I also might have the tire owner I know just to mount a 285 on my 8.5 inch wheel to take home to see what’s needs to be done as far as the wheels turned.

I added 2x 1/4” coilover shims to each side which increased the lift by another 1”.

Im considering the lowering kit since ill have around 3" of lift from stock. I have JBA UCA's and the same eibach spring set up as you on order.

Couple questions:

Does the diff drop affect ground clearance in a negative way?

Do you think gas mileage is improved with lowering the diff? Random question that isn't important, I am just curious.

Looks good. Waiting to have my AG done also. How was the alignment afterwards. Or did you change your upper control arms? Thanks.

Sorry for the late response. Alignment took 3 tries to get right, I believe it was just poor alignment shops, wasn't until the last one that they finally got a good caster and zeroed out the rest. Caster was ~3deg and drives great.

I did not change any other components, just swapped the springs and upgraded tires to the 275 Falken Wildpeaks.

Willing to share more photos? Im considering the 275 wildpeaks over 285. Looks great in that pic.

Here's another angle for reference. 275 wildpeaks

Super stoked with the kit. Did great on and off road. I've put 3k miles on them at this point. Very satisfied customer.

Thats good to hear! Thanks for the additional photo. I know 285’s can be done with some effort but the 275 C load Wildpeaks are looking more and more appealing. Hoping to get more feedback on ride and off-road use from people.

Not the bumper but I’d definitely like To get a swingarm & extra tire. Also bc being able to adjust the rear I can chose my rake or remain lvl depending on the addition dead load of RRT/ tools.
