Thought about 285s, but since a 7" rim is too narrow (per manufacturers) I didn't want to go down the rabbit hole of finding new rims (yet). More than enough tread and capability in this setup for me. Time will tell how the F Wildpeaks hold up, but I'm seeing them more and more with great reviews.
I know people run 285s on the trd wheels, but I like to follow spec (#engineer). Will likely stick with this setup for some time, maybe a winch install later.

How do you find the Wildpeak road noise versus the terra grapplers? About 1mpg loss?I'm ready to order either these springs or the Westcott Kit. I want to be able to clear 285s on stock TRD wheels and not have to worry about any rubbing issues. There are several doing that with the Westcott kit but I would rather just do these springs. Is anyone here running 285s on stock wheels?

Not sure about the mpgs yet, I was really loaded down on most of the miles on a trip out west, now I'm driving around the city and getting about the same city mpg as usual.
Not really noticeable noise change from my perspective, the TRD exhaust kinda drones out the tires anyway :rockon:

This is exactly the setup that I want to get on mine too.
I currently have 265 Wildpeaks and will keep them until the tread wears down, but I do have a question for you [MENTION=480128]bbphoto[/MENTION]
How does your new mpg with lift and 275s compare to stock mpg?
It's not going to deter me, just curious.

When I went to a 1.5/1” spacer lift on my Pro with BFG KO2 275’s in an E load I lost 2mpg city and 1.5mpg highway. I went up to a Falken SL rated 285 with the same lift and my city mileage is close to 1mpg better than the 275’s due to the tire weight.
Just had the springs installed with and 285/70/17 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLTs. Caster set to +5 on JBA UCAs. ABS line had to be relocated due to the UCAs Had to push fender liners in and needed some trimming to bumper. No rubbing at all. Rides pretty much like stock even on 10 ply tires. Road force balance was also done.

Put my eibach fronts, Toytec 1/4” front shim, c59-505 rear springs with DR side 15mm shim on today. Took longer than expected working with my 5yr old. Didn’t have time to get the SPC UCA on today. Will need to do that later this week.
Ran into an issue with my DR side front LCA cam bolt. Couldn’t get it tightened. Hoping alignment shop can get it done. Not sure if it’s just rust or if it got cross threaded going back together. It’s not easy keeping the cam steady while trying to tighten to 129 ft lb on jack stands.
Took before measurements. Will post up b4/after #s after I take it for a spin and remeasure. It looks high. Hope it settles in front some. Slightly nervous the springs didn’t seat perfectly. I used the no spring compressor method and it was hard to get them bumped up against the edge/end of the rubber isolator.
Front B4: 20.5 DR / 20.5 PS
Front After: 22.4 DR / 22.5 PS
Rear b4: 21.75 DR / 22.25 PS
Rear after: 24.25 DR / 24.5 PS
Need to order 285/70/17s and spidertraxx and get this thing finished. Appears only an amazon seller has spidertraxx available right now. Wish I could find a more reputable place that has them in stock. Stressing over which tires to get. Originally when I was going 285/75 I wanted KO2. Now with getting 285/70, I’ve heard the KO2 run small. May go wildpeak....would there really be a height diff between these two when mounted?

Just picked it up today. Loving how it rides. You can tell driving it that it’s higher. I will check measurements when I have it sitting on a level area. The pics it’s on a little slope. Checking the clearance for the front tires turned I think if I go with 285’s on my SCS wheels 8.5 will clear with mud flaps removed and making adjustment with the lower front fender the black part.
