See this is how it should come from the factory and then it would make the Pro truly different like the Rubicon is from other Wranglers.

Also my friend that does all my work pretty much on my vehicles for a long time. Doing the rear took him about hour. No need to remove the tires in the rear. Now the front were a different story. Compressing the springs were a little harder for him because the one set he uses to compress the springs did not work out so he had to make adjustments with his other set. Trying to make a long story short. Lol.

What makes me want this lift is its not much of a lift. I have driven with 35's or 37's on 4 different Rubicons for 12 years before my 4R. I just don't want to drive a lifted truck anymore with big tires. I just want to drive something clearly bigger than a crossover which the stock Pro barely is.

I see that your in the Bay Area, if you don't mind making a 2.5 hour trip down south I be willing to help you with the install for free. Shouldn't be more than 3 hours on the spring install now that I have experience after doing mines and that's me taking my time because I'm OCD on every bolt.:biggrin2: No spring compressor is needed for this process. As far as the UCA goes I haven't done it yet but it looks straight forward after doing some research.

Too bad you're too far away from me...I would offer my service for free. Honestly if you have a friend that is mechanically incline and has the basic tools save that 1k and make it a weekend project with him to replace the springs and take it to the shop afterwards for the alignment.

I did...not sure that their vendors have these kits on their shelves yet since it just got release.
I ordered direct yes. Ordered on Sept 1st and they will be delivered this Monday (the 14th) to Florida.

I was quoted $400 and $550 for spring install only. I have my own alignment shop that I trust.
No I don’t have a spacer. I noticed the same thing when I picked it up at my buddy’s garage. I like that it sits a little higher in the rear. Maybe after it settles it will look different. It cost me $370.00 to have it done.

I was planning on measuring it some time tonight or tomorrow. I will post it. I did it before the lift. I’m also holding off on the alignment because my friend said put some miles on it before you do the alignment.

No problem. I think seeing it in person it looks much higher than what the pics show. Even my mechanic said the same how much you can tell the difference.

Did one of my UCAs tonight and left the car on stands on driver side only and then started it up. It has all the traction and ABS lights on. Is that normal when a wheel is in the air or did I damage my abs wire/hose? The steering knuckle did end up stressing the hose a bit but didn’t break it.

Hey peekaboo, I did some measurements this morning. I got the 1.6 front and rear 1.0. I know every 4runner is different as far as when you lift it. Some guys get different measurements when same lift is installed. It seems when my Pro is sitting on a level area the back looks higher like the factory rake. Pics are deceiving. But seeing it in person my rear looks just like factory which I prefer it that way. Hope this helps.
