Eibach needs a stock TRD PRO in SoCal

Almost looks like it gives a negative rake, but I think all “leveling” done on these rigs looks that way. Front fender gap should be less, unless you’re in an E36 M3 [emoji23]

Just a curious question out to any one. Why are the 285’s need to be put on before alignment is done. Is it because of clearance? Thanks.

No. Even if you go with same size of the tires you had before, tires first and then alignment . It just works that way.

I still have my stock tires on. Going in for the state inspection and first oil change and alignment since Eibach prints were installed. Put over 300 miles on them. Thanks.

It definitely good idea since you touched your suspension components. I do my alignment like once a year as maintenance, just makes my tires last longer and better driving overall.

Yeah that’s why I waited to put some miles on first before the alignment. I would like to add 285’s now but trying to hold off if I can. Working on some other ideas if they pan out. Thanks.

Now with the 285 Falkens. They look way better in person. I have some rubbing while backing up. If I didn’t have spacers I don’t think I would rub.

Before I go hacking up the bumper, I'm going to remove my spacers today and see if that will help with the rubbing. I checked the space between the UCA's and I have at least 2" of space so I know rubbing won't be an issue once removed. I will report back later today.

So I removed my spacers today and now there is zero rubbing anywhere. So glad I didn’t have to hack up my bumper. I actually prefer the more tucked in tire look. Now the tires are almost flush with the fenders.

Just the arc is bigger with them out further. I have over an inch clearance on the UCA so I would say with TRD wheels it’s an easy fit with this lift as long as no spacers. With spacers you will be cutting. That’s how close I was to the body mount. It was way worse on the fender liner.

DallasTrdPro: that’s a tight fit with the spacers! I’m having my 285 KO2s put on Wednesday and I’m getting a BMC. I decided to keep the spacers as I was worried I’d rub my SPC UCAs when wheeling. Plus I’ll likely go 285/75/17 next time.

You will be fine with 285/70/17 with your SCS wheels. I have KO2's in that size and as long as you have aftermarket UCA's to dial in as much caster as possible, you should even be able to possibly keep your mud flaps in the front. My setup is Ray 10's, 285/70, with no BMC and still have mud flaps. If you also go with spacers you will definitely need to remove mud flaps and have a BMC done. In my opinion with the offset and width of the SCS wheels, you dont need spacers.

That’s how close it was with the spacers. Now I have over an inch or more without the spacers

It’s perfect for my needs. Looks like it should have from the factory. I have no desire to drive anything taller. This is perfect for my needs and what I wanted it to look like.

Be calling my tire guy on Monday to order just one Toyo AT3 and do some test fitting. He said he would order just one in so I can take it home to see if I need to make any adjustments.

I think it looks much better without the spacers. Nice truck
