Eibach Pro-truck lift

Got my kit from Toytec today and couldn't wait to install it. Getting it aligned tomorrow, but could already tell just from the drive home from my shop how much better it is than the XREAS.

Thanks! They're Enkei RPT1 18x9, 0 offset with General Grabber A/Tx 285/65-18. I get legit rub on the body mount with 3.5º of caster. Going to get it set to 2.9º to see if it makes a difference.

Question, I keep reading about Icon / OME owners needing to rebuild their shocks. Is that something we will need to do in the future and is there any mileage recommendation or signs that the shocks need rebuilding?

Did some "fast" driving today through the curves. Body roll is gone - truck handles 100% better with the Eibach lift. Nose dive is also gone.

Had a local shop do the install on a stage 1 kit I ordered from Toytec. Didn't notice the huge rake in the front due to the wife driving and they had it backed in at an angle. Did they just not get the front springs compressed enough? The lift was for 2.75 inches and my before and after measurements for the front are in the 4 inch area. Is this going to be safe to drive it back up to the shop ?

The snap ring is set in the wrong groove. You can see the lowest groove exposed in your 2nd pic and the snap ring needs to be on the lowest groove for the 2.75” lift setting.

I asked the same question on page 44.

Yep, you can do that.

I was skeptical about looking butt-saggy when I bought the kit, but after installation, I think it makes the truck look perfect. Even if the frame is level, the body still appears to have a slight rake at both the roofline and fenders.

You might want to install the kit and then see how you feel about a rear spacer. It would be super easy to add later.

Agree. I'd just do the kit first.

Now that the lift is installed. I agree it looks just fine as is without a spacer added to the rear.

Thanks man. I must have missed that one. A lot of the other pics look more level-rake. That sounds like a good approach.

I do have 200lbs of winch and bumper on the front end so, mine might be a little more squat / raked than others.

Great example. That’s the direction I’m headed with mine as well. Did you have to adjust the clip settings?

I found this shop in Springfield, MO that specializes in lifting / lowering vehicles to install it.
BKS Built Trucks, LLC

They did it for $475 OTD (out the door) which included wheel alignment. Talking to the owner of the shop, he set the front shocks to the standard 2.5" setting which is mentioned in the installation documents here:

I installed the bumper and winch myself and debated installing the lift. For $475 might as well let an expert handle it.
