I just installed them last night. On initial drive they seem a smoother than the Toytecs but I really need to put some miles on it
My chief complaint with the Toytecs was that they were so stiff it was hard to keep the truck in the lane when driving on shitty freeways in CO coming home from the mtns and then just the bouncing while driving around town.
They’re great off-road but I’m steering my build to be more of a road trip and camping with my son truck than where I was heading with it before.

Question for Ryan,
Brother In-law gave me his old fishing boat. I just towed it home from N. Minnesota to S. Missouri (1053 miles). Rear end on the truck was really sagging and the front end was up in the air. The truck handled ok but looked like shit.
MPG trip up average (unladen) = 19.63
Average MPG towing back home = 14.40
What would the best way to correct that rear end sag for towing?
Add a spacer in the rear or airbags?
For airbags, can you advise the inside diameter of the rear shocks?
Will the adjustable rear correct that rear end sag for towing?

I'm looking to make a similar upgrade and have been quoted $2100 for the parts and 12 hours of labor which seems high. Was told that Toytec is made by Eibach and putting the toytec springs and shocks on the back will eliminate the sag of going with an all out Eibach set up. They will winterize the parts (flex seal, paint, sealer) to reduce/eliminate the effects of salt of here in the Northeast.

Note the above pics don't do it justice as I took the boat off last night and just rehooked it up. Give it a 1000 miles and the truck looks crazy.
Researching here - seems airbags might help.

From your last post i expected a yacht lol.
I have a 16 footer as well... But a bass boat, not a deep V. So smaller/lighter. Whats crazy is i dont notice much drop in fuel economy when pulling it... I will go from 18.5 to 17 at worse.... But when i haul an even SMALLER/lighter trailer, about 12' trailer with 7-8 bags of trash to the dump my MPG drops to like 15... Quite confusing, the only thing i can think of as a "why" is because the boat is more aerodynamic, and the "trash trailer" catches more air... As the ramp on the trash trailer sits up pretty high.
Hopefully you get it figured out. Does the 4runner sit pretty level without the boat hooked up? I havent gotten mine in yet, but im worried a 2.75/1" lift will make it nose high from the start which will definitely create a saggy butt when towing.

The motor on the boat needs some work. Starts just fine but won't idle. It worked for 4 days of our 7 day fishing trip. Hoping it's something simple - fuel pump. Taking it to the shop tomorrow. It has an older Lowrance GPS unit with tracker on it. Kind of cool - can't get lost with it on. We're looking forward to exploring Bull Shoals lake which is right down the road from me.
Truck sits nice and level with the Eibach lift - minus the trailer. I wondered the same thing going in but have been real happy with the results.

I tow from time to time too and IMO it just is what it is. It's not often enough to try and come up with a solution for an hour drive each way every month.
The rear adjuster we are working in will help, but would you jack the rear of your rig up and manually raise the rear just to tow a boat?
OD of the rear shocks is 51.5mm.

I'm feeling the same, although I can't say for sure what their expected ship date was when I placed my order on the Sept. 3rd. Considering they do display expected ship dates and clearly state the kit is drop shipped direct from the manufacturer, I'm having a hard time putting summit on blast.
That being said, we are still free to purchase elsewhere from someone who has it in stock... it's not like it would take longer to ship lol. Hang in their brother!

Dont feel too bad.... Toytec just told me that they are not sure WHEN exactly they will have my order from Eibach...... but they are estimating about 2-3 weeks
Ryan did yall get in those 300 sets?
They'll have them in about a week. Couple days to get them out of here and a couple days to Colorado.
