Eibach Pro-truck lift

Ryan since you've already leaked some other stuff that is in development, when will the customizable pick and choose Pro Truck be available?

 • Shocks adjustable from 1" to 3" lift
 • A couple different front spring rates
 • Rear springs in a couple heights (starting at stock) and a couple spring weights

To save all the extra SKUs, I have left off multiple colors to make your life easier.

If you could have something like that for Monday that'd be great. There's a $12 Fandango gift card with your name on it! :D

Everything you mentioned is in the works except for custom colors. That will never happen :)

[Jack Sparrow] Aha! So we've established my proposal is sound in principle, now we're just haggling over price. [/Jack Sparrow]

The Eibach "Grow As You Go" kit is an 11/10 winner and we're willing to start a change.org petition to make the owners name it after you.

An adjustable REAR coilover as a complete bolt-on suspension system that replaced the rear springs and shocks would be off the charts slick. 4-corner adjustment!

Ryan i need some info before ordering
can you please explain what would be the differences between using your pro truck lift kit with or with out the springs thanks

Hi Ryan,

Idk if you have been following all the fun I have been having with my Dobinsons lift. But, long story short I think I want to order the pro kit front shocks and coils.

I have to pull my suspension apart for the 3rd time. If it looks like the coils they are swapping (Warranty) are the same length, I can not waste anymore of my life, and put the eibach stuff in it’a place.

Assuming they correct the issue what’s the return policy?

I'm debating on getting this lift. But worried it may be too tall.
Has anyone installed this on an SR5 with no extra weight? (i.e roof racks, front and rear bumpers)
I'm thinking of going with 275/70/16 with this lift and not adding much else. Curious what your gas mileage has changed to?
I really like the aggressive look but also want to stay reasonable on MPG.
If I don't go with this kit I would get Bilsteins all around and just have new coils in the front.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I have no extra weight my truck (sr5) is using 265’s I was worried originally it might be too tall but it is great.

I may get 275’s when it’s time to get new tires but I am very happy.

I have not seen a significant change in gas mileage.

I'm not running anything extra. For me its the right amount of lift to make the runner feel like less station wagon and more "truck". As for MPG. Couldn't tell you, as i drive a bit more "aggressive" then most. Didn't notice any change.

If the pro kit is too tall for you, just get the Eibach adjustable shocks and use your stock coil. This way, you can lift it either 0.8" or 1.6"......whichever fits your needs. I did this and put mine at 1.6". Love it!

We’ve been talking about that in this thread for months. It’s 4 weeks out at this point :)

Yes, I have been patiently waiting but that is not what I’m talking about. I mean rear coilovers of the same type as those on the front and remove the shocks in the stock location. Bolt-on brackets for the upper and lower spring perches in the rear to attach the coilovers. No idea how something like that would work as far as the engineering. Haven’t given it more than a passing thought but it would be different if nothing else.

If it wasn’t for the promise of full adjustability, I would have already gone with the current Pro system. Chomping at the bit.

As far as the much-anticipated new kit goes, what do you expect the cost to be in comparison to what is currently offered?

Don't hold your breath on a full coilover. Generally the shock mounting points in the rear don't have enough meat to carry the entire load, as they are not designed to do so. I'm sure this could be an option in 10 years when people are ok hacking up a 5th gen.

New rear kit should run about $499 with custom rates.

I had it installed on SR5 (no rack or bumpers)

I swapped over to Wildpeaks AT/3 (265/70 R17 (factory size))BEFORE the lift. I did this so i would NOT be tempted to go larger.

MPG before the lift was 19 - 20 highway commuting, 17 - 18 mixed and 16.5 - 17 if i only drive around town.
MPG after the lift - basically same.

one observation (noticed even by my wife) is the 4Runner RIDES MUCH BETTER. Way better than stock, no leaning in turns, no nose dive.

also, i too considered 275s. I found the the 275 were LT tires. These tires weighed way more the the 265s. I knew from my days of 350z ownership, that extra "unsprung" weight kills MPG and acceleration. Hence the 265 wildpeaks.

What exactly is the Toytec/Eibach relationship? Do you guys just manufacture their coils? Are all Toytec springs re-branded Eibach springs?

I have the Aluma series coilovers, and I believe that the shocks are made by Elka But are the springs from Eibach? Just curious.

Thanks!

Don’t mean using the rear shock mounting points for the coilover system in the rear. The rear shocks would be removed and not replaced. The rear coil springs would be removed and replaced with a coilover suspension just like in the front. One unit. There would have to be a bracket system to attach the coilover in place of the stock coil springs.

Are the adjustable front coilovers and the rear adjustable system both going to be out in about a month? Will it be offered in a complete kit like the current Pro system? Standing by.

Trust me, I get it. There's not a lot of room to package a coilover in the spring area.

front coilovers - 2 months
Rear adjsutabel kit - 1 month

Will be sold as a package or separate.
