Eibach Pro-truck lift

I did my Eibach lift over 2 nights. Rear: 1 inch pro lift springs and Pro truck shocks. Front: Pro Coilovers 2.0.

The rear gained almost 1.5 inch with those springs. I had to make about 13 turns or more in the front coilovers to get the nose down to the height I was looking for, there is about 3/4 inch rake to compensate for light boat towing.

Used plenty of silicone lubricant on the collars and threads, using metal pipe for leverage it wasn't that bad using the spanner wrench especially going down releasing spring tension. I bought back up wrench in case it broke but not needed after all. There's about quarter inch left of threads from the bottom on the struts. Kudos to the person who suggested putting a paint mark on the collars to keep track of the turns.

Before on top, bottom is after the lift. Really liking the new stance and handling.

Eibach 1.6" front on stock coils with Eibach 1" rear springs and shocks

After reviewing all fo the valuable feedback from everybody on the forum I got my rig upgraded with the Eibach front shocks set to 1.6" on stock coils with the Eibach 1" rear springs and shocks. I am running the Method 305 NV 0 offset and KO2's 275s. I am super happy with how it all came together.

I got exactly 1-5/8" lift up front and 1" in the rear measuring wheel to wheel well. So it took 5/8" of rake out of it. Just under 2" of rake remains so when loaded up for camping in Baja she sits perfectly level and that was my goal. Also the oil pan/transfercase shield sits 1-5/8" higher for more ground clearance in the front.

The 0 offset wheels give her that little wider stance. I maybe could have gone negative offset but can add a spacer later.

The 275's are Load E and I am super happy to have a thicker tire and side wall for those sharp rocky Baja roads. I haven't noticed any change in gas mileage with both the heavier wheel and tire. She handles and grips the road so much better with the Eibach system too.

Those settle changes make for a much more badass looking vehicle and less wear than making significant alterations. These vehicles go really well stock so I don't think they need much.

looks great. we'll be through your area in april, ending in Loreto

Somebody asked for action shots...Eibach 1.0 bottom ring because I like the lift height and didn't feel the need to complicate anything with adjustability I'd never use. KDSS truck. My buddies with fancy kings and fox setups are world's nicer on the bumpy roads heading out to the actual wheeling, but I've found that pushing the speed up on the chattery dirt roads really smooths it out significantly. What shakes your teeth out at 15mph is just a little bump at 45mph. Once we hit actual offroading, there's not much difference between my $750 suspension and their $2500 suspension. If I had the coin to spend I'd be Gucci, but I don't and I'm still very happy with this setup. I'm usually on a trail at least once a week.

How does the Eibach pro kit compare to Bilstien 5100 with OEM springs and daystar spacer in the rear? I currently have that set up and running 275/70/17 falkin wild peaks and a sydertrack spacer. I was looking to change out my springs to dobinson or to a new system - considering dobinson or eibach. I didn't want to buy uca.

Eibach stage 1 shocks, Wheeler's (Eibach) T1/T13, SPC UCA, Energy Suspension 8.9104R bump stops up front. 3.5" Durobumps will be going in soon for the rear bumps.

I've had this setup installed for a little over 7 months now and I've been very happy with the way it rides.

been hoping to see more feedback from people that are actually hitting the dirt more than occassionally, thanks for this. i'd probably be in the same boat - not a huge lift needed but would like more control, and this seem to be the ticket.

also, how are the Pirelli Scorps working out? if they're 265's they look like they offer a surprisingly decent footprint and tread depth.

I really try and get out weekly. Mostly by myself so I don't get too crazy, but I'm in the rocks, not on dirt roads. I'm lucky to have some fun trails 20 min from my front door. It would be nice to feel like a Cadillac on the fire roads, but I have no regrets with this setup.

The scorpions are actually amazing and if I can find a deal on them again I will re-purchase. These are 285s, and I hardly ever air down because I'm lazy and it's time consuming to air back up when I'm only out wheeling for 2 hours. They are great in the light snow we get here, and they are like glue on the dry rocks. I was a little slippery on wet rock, but no worse than everyone else. We have some rocky loose sandy steep hills out here and between the scorpions and MTS I hardly ever spin tires. I really have nothing bad to say about them. They are also amazing on the street. I drive like an a-hole with KDSS and and pedal commander turned up and they always feel sticky and planted. Zero noise. Jury is still out on wear. I feel like they are wearing fast but it might just be me. I had one warrantied by discount recently for a couple nails, and I really noticed the difference in tread depth on the new one.

Before and After

Finally got my Stage 1 lift installed over the holidays on my 2016 ORP! I used the factory front springs on the top perch, not the Eibach 2.75" springs. I was a little worried the 2.75" lift would be too much and I couldn't find front springs when I purchased the other parts, so I saved some cash this way.

Everything I've read on here is accurate:

  • Way less nosedive during braking
  • Firmer, more planted handling
  • Quicker, more responsive turn-in
  • More truck-like in a good way
  • Soaks up speed humps in shopping centers well
  • Unmaintained pavement still smooth
  • Little less compliant on your traditional speed bumps in parking lots and such

No fancy action pics yet, just a before and after for your pleasure. The factory rubber doesn't look out of place in person, surprisingly. Some nice AT tires will take things up a huge notch.

Looks good and I like the route you took!

How much lift did you actually get with shocks only?

Thanks! I think I made the right choice on the front springs too!

Not sure. I didn't measure before. I can measure from the hubs to the bottom of the fender front and rear if that helps you.

ETA: 21.5" Front - 22.625" Rear

I have been doing tons of research on this set and am so happy I found this thread. Thank you all! You just helped confirm these are perfect for me.

The best price I have been able to find is $917. Doesn’t anyone know of anyone that may have them at a better number?

I paid $1,182 for the PRO-TRUCK COILOVER STAGE 2 - Front Coilovers + Rear Shocks + Pro-Lift-Kit Spring E86-82-071-01-22 from vivid racing. They priced match from Csp racing.

You have solar panels on the roof!!! So cool

Renogy 50w panels, and I have a 3rd panel I bring camping but it takes up too much room on the rack to leave it mounted. The pigtail I use has 4 quick connects so it's all plug and play. The panels pop off when I'm not using them and the wiring is just velcro-strapped down the rack and in through the rear hatch to a 300w power box. Can't run anything big, but it keeps the lights on and devices charged.
