Well...
It's been a while since I posted. I now have 106k trouble-free miles on my 2010 4R 4WD (I clearly drive a lot for work). I finally had to replace the brakes for the first time at 100k miles (lots of highway miles). It drives and looks like the day I bought it inside and out (partially because I am religious...ok...obsessive about maintenance). But, it gets pretty heavy camping, boat pulling and other recreational use, in addition to its weekday duties as my business chariot.
So, my wife, who drove and loved her VW EOS for a few years, caught the off-road/Jeep bug. This worked for me since I was going to go buy an old Jeep to mess around with. She found a new Willys. The VW is gone...and her daily driver is my new weekend hobby.
Eight wheel drive...not a bad thing...
