My hatch lock is broken, It appears to lock and doesn't set off the door ajar sensor. I found this out because when I was pulling on to a highway, my hatch flipped opened allowing my dog to fall out on the pavement at about 35mph. He is okay, but has some road rash! I called toyota and they said they never had an issue reported with the electronic hatch lock. I would like to replace it and was wondering if any of you have any insight. I looked online for the part with no luck. I am about 5k out of warranty and would like to do the job myself if possible. Thanks, EJ
