Emergency: Stuck in the Colorado Rockies

Wheel/Tire is off! I set it front of the fireplace and got after it with the blow dryer. Here's a shot of the melted packed snow and ice draining out from the tire bead. Victory is in sight!

I just got in and saw this . I live a little over a hour from fairplay and if there is any thing else you need ( like a compressor ) pm me .

So, after all that help from Mike...fail. You can see where the air started to leak out as I inflated it. Either there's still some crap preventing the tire bead from sealing, or I have a bent rim. Sigh...at least I'm on a spare and mobile! I can't thank all of you enough for the support and suggestions. We have a great community!

Bummer to hear it's leaking after all of that. Hope it's something minor and not a bent rim... Glad to hear you've at least got the spare on!

Finally off the mountain with the tire fixed. Big O Tires dismounted and cleaned the tire bead and rim. I asked them to run what is called "rim run-out" on the balancing machine to make sure the rim wasn't bent. Everything held pressure and balanced well. All is good!
