I just had my spark plugs replaced and am getting the same thing but consider mine more of a rough idle. Going to bring mine in next week and see what they say. Nothing wrong with the truck before the new plugs.

Let us know. I have a somewhat rough idle as well, kind of sounds like a small muffled generator. I think its just age. I had a mechanic check mine out and he wasn't able to find anything but I would be curious what your issue might be. I have similar mileage to yours, I am about to turn over 130k miles.

I'm at 176,000. I blame the slight rough idle on mine on the aging AC compressor. might be wrong, definitely wouldn't cause a miss. I'm interested in what you find as well. could be anything, bad gas, wires, injectors, etc.

Did you guys swap your coil packs too?
Spark plugs should come pre gapped but it's good to check. Factory spec is .0394-.0433.

Interesting and Interested as i'm over 100k... Could this be a recall?
I swapped #2 & #4. I couldnt tell if the problem moved, but it still happened. since the dealer stated the miss was on #2 coil, I replaced that one. This is driving me nuts. Yes it does it more when the AC if on and maybe adding the headlights, which is why I'm thinking alternator.
Maybe a ground issue someone. Can anyone give me places to check ground connections beside the battery?

I have a 2011 SR5 I bought new. At 60,000 miles had the plus replaced. Then at about 71,000 miles had a miss. Had the #4 Coil replaced and a new plug because water rust on the plug. Then immediately after that the truck missed again, not as bad but I was so pissed and had all the coils replaced. No problems now at 76,000 miles.

My truck goes in Friday to hopefully solve my problem.
Toyota replace my plugs in the 120k service (Toyota has done all the services).

I helped a friend of mine with this. After new plugs, he still had it. Started moving coils then replaced a couple. Ended up just replacing all six and he was back in business. His started around 110k miles.
Moral of the story... since all the coils are the same age, it may be far less frustration to just change all when the first one starts acting up. We spent multiple weekends over a couple of months trying to save some dough.

The time spent chasing these around every time is well worth the cost of replacing them all at the first sign of trouble.

You said the miss occurs whenever the AC is on...a failing AC compressor can cause a miss...anything the can cause the crank to slow down !!...PCM uses the crank sensor to detect misfires...I'd take it to diagnostic shop and let them scope the injectors and secondary ignition...may be even mechanical related !!...watch the first few minutes of the video !!

So dealer got back to me about my miss fire and so far it sounds like a spark plug got over torqued and cracked. They replaced it. Let see if that fixed it. Will report after I get the truck back.
It does it more often with AC on. but also when off. it posted a cyl #4 misfire P0304. but that has only happened once. I ordered 2 coils for #2 and #4 and 6 new plugs. it's running like shit right now. but has been good the past 2 weeks. I think an electrical connection gremlin somewhere?
