engine vibration

Whats up everyone? So after bringing my car for the 10,000 mile service last month, I am still having engine vibration. After driving it for 1000 miles after the 10,000 service, it has gotten a lot worse. You can feel it more now on idle or in neutral. I called Toyota's 1800 customer service and all they can say to me is to bring it to another service department to get a second opinion. I am so tired of having to keep bringing back the truck to the dealer. Do you guys have any idea what else it can be?

They need to check the voltage in each one of your six(6) coil packs. IF one has vasilating voltage it will manifest as a "vibration" in the motor. If it gets bad enough it will shake the truck, that is when the coil pack has gone down and has to be replaced. Not a major undertaking but...... they don't "heal"

I have had this issue since I bought my truck from day 1. I brought it back to the dealer so many times and all they keep telling me is this is normal and to keep driving it and it will go away. 12,000 miles later and I am still have the issue. I have actually contacted the sales manager from were I bought the truck from and he said to give him a call tomorrow. If he ask me to bring the truck in, I will tell him to check the stuff you guys have pointed out. Again, thank you guys for the response.

2010 vibration at idle in park

I own a 2010 4runner rwd with about 6,000 miles.Getting vibration at idle in park. vibration comes and goes as you sit in park. vibration travels up through seat annoying . Having toyota rep. look at it on 12/ 21/10. anyone else having same issue?

I have a 2011 4runner and I am having the same vibration problem. Did you solve the problem ?

Hey guys, I just bought a 2016 4Runner Trail Premium yesterday and having this same issue and also another issue - a definite engine or transmission vibration/power struggle noticeable in 3rd gear at about 1.2 to 1.5 thousand RPM. 1st and 2nd gear seem unaffected. I'll have to try 4th and up again and see if it hits at the same RPM but I believe it does.

I'll be taking it back to the dealer tomorrow but worried they'll just tell me nothing is wrong, like they usually do.

Has anyone discovered the source/cause yet?
