Entune Update

I got my entune update in the mail today via USB stick. Upgrade went smooth (instead of entune 1.84, i'm now running 2.10).

It appears to have improved the bluetooth streaming for my iphone. Majority of album art shows up now over streaming and it seems snappier. Of course, it now has open table, iheartradio, and movie tickets now too. I saw there are more media commands too (play Artist, next track, etc...).

Unfortunately, I still can't use the interest over bluetooth for my iphone 4s.

Anyone else notice any other improvements?

We received ours today and the wife installed it. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
 
Entune USB Update Stick

Has anyone received theirs yet?

I downloaded the software for the Camry's here. But when I tried updating - it tells me "Now in software update mode, please insert valid stick" - so I'm guess they're car dependent.

Anyway, I'm stuck in this software update mode until I have a valid stick.

So, anyone who's received theirs, can you copy the files off of it and put it up for download somewhere? I can help you with that last thing if you need help. I just need that software.

Can someone please take the files off of the stick and make them available as a download? I know they're only like 300mb worth of files.

Mediafire, Dropbox, YouSendit, any of those services would work - I'm kind of bricked at the moment without it.

Hey Guys! Thanks so much, I was able to download the files from there. I formatted a new stick with FAT and threw the .iso and .txt file on there (tried it without the .txt file as well) and still not working.

Is there anything else about the stick? Naming convention? Partitions? Anything like that?

Thanks again guys, hopefully my headunit isn't fubar until the update stick arrives.
 
When i plug it in, it's showing as FAT32 format. I don't see any other partitions in the disk management tool for windows. It just has layout = simple, type=Basic, file system = FAT32, Status = Active, Primary Partition

there is no unallocated space on it.
 
Huh. Still not working. It just keeps telling me to put in a valid stick. Is it named anything special?

I'm wondering if it has something of a naming convention - or even a hidden key file. I've read where all the camry's and prius's had no problems with the downloaded software. All I get is "please insert a valid stick". SOB.

Perhaps the updates are vehicle specific. The one I uploaded is for a 2012 SR5 with Display audio, I think that's what they call the NAV in the SR5?

Hey guys - I was finally able to get it!

I tried the file Reask provided and on a different USB stick - don't know if it was the stick or the software that made the difference - but thanks guys!

This worked for my 2012 TE. I had to try twice however. The first time I copied the unzipped files to a USB drive and got the same error others did. I don't know if it matters, but the drive showed up as a generic drive on my Macbook.

The second time, I used a different USB drive. This one showed up as a USB drive. Also, I copied the unzipped files along with the zipped file. I don't know what made it work the second time, but there it is.

Man is it humid in DC. Holy crap. Too humid for fireworks. Just glad I have electricity.
 
Worked like a charm on 2012 SR5 with Premium Package.
Thank you for uploading the files. I have not received a stick from my dealer.
