Ever wonder what your used 4Runner was traded in for?

I bought my 06 Sport back in March of 2011 at a ford dealership. I asked the used car sales manager what it was traded in for and he couldn't recollect. I supposed there could have been a used Toyota on the lot that he traded for? Maybe he went for an F150 or a new Explorer? Maybe he needed a sedan with better gas mileage or decided to give up 4WD and try a rear wheel drive Mustang in the middle of winter? The possibilities are endless... How many of you know what your 4Runner was traded in for?

How deep of you. I never thought about anything like that... I just remember coming to the dealership and I was looking around the lot for SUV's. 10 rows down in the parking lots, a white 4Runner caught my attention only because I've always have been a huge fan of white 4Runners as I was very envious of those who had 'em when I still had the 3rd gen 4Runner. I took it out for a test drive & walked out of the dealership with the keys in my hands on the same day! It was like love at first sight for me....

If I had to guess, I would think the previous owner traded it in for a brand new 5th gen 4Runner or a newer 4th gen 4Runner because I could tell the owner was a huge fan of this 4Runner I currently own because the 4Runner was very well taken care

I just got a 2008 SR5 V8 with less than 21K mi. It was traded in by original owner for a F-250 to tow big camper. It was like getting a great deal on a brand new truck !

I worked at the dealership i bought mine from. Traded in for 18500, got to it the morning before it was to be put on the lot for 27900. Paid 20500.

My previous owner traded for a Tundra reg. 4 door cab. When I called him he seemed to miss his 4runner.
I told him I was going from full size to 4runner and I was concerned about satisfaction with the smaller width vehicle.
I now very much like the smaller ride...easier to park etc.

Well not directly related but after getting rid of my evo8, I wanted either a new Cherokee new 4runner trail or an fj.
I decided on the fj I like it but if I could do it all over again to be honest I would choose the 4runner. Lol even though I already own an 08 sport

Bought mine as a CPO. The sales guy told me it was traded in for a 5th gen 4Runner. I kinda want to look up the old owner and ask him if there's anything special I should know about it.

Wow! That is quite the upgrade. What kind of dealer was this at?

Got mine at a Toyota dealer so all I know is that he traded it for another Toyota.
