Exchanging the cable between battery and fuse box

I looked again today as I was cleaning up the engine compartment a bit. It's pretty impossible to separate the halves enough to get my camera in, I tried use a screwdriver to hold it open to see what I could see with my scope but I couldn't make out much of anything.

I've had the battery out a couple times already. However, since it's my daily driver, I would like to have things planned out and ready before I start taking the electrical system apart and have no means to get around.

I'm also trying to keep the original wiring harness intact, in case I need to roll back due to unforeseen issues. it's not making things easier at this time, but I think it's the smart move long term.

I'm pretty comfortable with things towards the alternator. just would like to know what I'm in for on the fusebox side. that seems to be the bigger time consumer and headache creator. I'll get it squared away one of these days! :cowboy:

Well... this is my first unsuccessful mod. I've officially called it quits on trying to complete the cable exchange at this time. When this is no longer my primary vehicle I may revisit it, but for the time being I've installed the Group 31M battery by modifying the existing battery terminal ends.
