exhaust manifold need help

Hi guys I'm new here !
2004 4.7 v8


My manifold or gasket has a leak it's a passenger side . I need any tips how to remove old manifold
It looks really hard to do it
Some nuts has nice access but couple of them are really hard to move .

Please send me any information what I might need

I'm going to do the job nexT weekend .

Factory exhaust manifolds

Hey buddy! I went through the same issue and it turns out that the v8 4Runners have warping issues with their headers. After talking to many dealerships I decided against replacing the factory manifolds ($2100 each side!).

I decided to buy the aftermarket JBA headers for the 4.7 v8 tundra and mod them for my 4Runner. The headers cost $500 and the mod improved mileage and low end torque immensely!

Absolutely. If I EVER have to take my headers off, I'm going with aftermarket. More efficient.
