Exhaust tip or no exhaust tip

Amazon.com: 2014 4Runner Exhaust Tip (Finish: Chrome): Automotive

Is this worth putting on our 5th gen? My worry is how it will look over time here in the rough winters with salt, etc....Easy to steal, does it rattle?

Buy a tank of gas instead..........its a cosmetic mod so I assume you want opinions. Mine is def a no go as I don't think the 4runners look good with the chrome exhaust. Stay low profile

P.S. Doubt anyone would steal it and if its actually 304SS I would expect it to do ok but I wouldn't be surprised if its a low grade of stainless. (there more than 1 type of 304 SS)

The more and more I look at the Pro that has the exhaust tip I like it, but I guess once you start tacking stuff on more and more....it gets overwhelming.

Hey if you like it go for it! nothing wrong with a shiny tip. Just not my taste. You are correct once the modding starts it doesn't seem to stop

save the money and use it towards having a custom side exit done... one of the best mods ive done.. no more sulfur smell

I'd skip it too, but go ahead if that's your flavor! I just painted mine with flat black BBQ paint to deal with the rusty look. Then it wore off and rusted again. So I decided rusty is ok.
