This is a good solution for folks looking for "plug and play". There are several ways to relocate the washer bottle and from a technical perspective it is not terribly difficult. I know, because I did it 2 years ago. Mine in now located behind the grille and uses a smaller 1/2 gallon aftermarket reservoir, using the OEM pump and lengthened factory wiring.
Doing the install in this way allowed me to keep my existing dual battery setup behind the passenger headlight as well as my auxiliary fuse box near the passenger firewall.
When you have specific needs, you either need to figure out how to do it yourself or find a trusted shop to do it to your spec (and be prepared to pay).

As far as I know the 13+ kit is ready to be tested. I don't have an air pump otherwise I would have fitted it as well. Hurry up and get the bumper!

Because when you get an aftermarket bumper, it's left exposed. It hangs down really low behind the front stock bumper on the passenger side.

I spoke with the guys at Expo-One and they said that the 4Runner specific kits with the additional hardware will be available very soon, and are in the process of adding it to their website. As well, the FJ cruiser air pump relocation bracket, which lists for an additonal $29.99 will work and for for the 4Runners and will be an included option. So, the 4Runner kit will cover 2010 to present models.

2 gallons would be awesome. I was thinking about trying to insulate my washer bottle after my fluid froze on a trip to the mountains this winter (It was the -20 fluid, I only run the -35 now...). A long trip down I70 in the snow, with no washer capability was not a fun experience. I guess if I decide to pull it out, why not just double the capacity! Thanks for posting this.

Being that it's relocated inside the engine bay, once the engine is up to temp, it's only a matter of time before the reservoir would melt, assuming it somehow froze entirely. The excess warm air coming off of the radiator would make short work of it
