NP, curious what this thing looks like installed. its on my list to take care of this spring / summer once i've installed the 5th Gen brake upgrade. I'm hoping thats the culprit to my clunking as I've lubed the bejesus out of the driveshaft.

Sorry to be so late to the game. Just picked up a gen4, 2006, SR5 Sport, 4x4. It has the clunk. Going to do the GX470 swap. Is there a particular year GX470 drive shaft to rob from or are all the shafts the same from 03-09? I ask because I found a very nice shaft from a 2004 GX470. If they are all sealed then it is an easy decision, but I would like to be sure. Thank you.

Believe there was a TSB for the GX470 to replace the driveshaft with the new part number (37110-60A40) so if the TSB was done to the source vehicle, you're good....
