Greg, can't thank you enough for all of your knowledge, time and commitment to this forum.

If your adventures ever bring you down to or past the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area and you want a free adult refreshment let me know, it would be great to actually meet the great and now mod retireed 1engineer in person.

Not sure why it has to be an all or nothing kind of thing? I don't think anyone here has had any concerns with your contributions to the forum as a member. Quite the opposite really. Just seems with your very black/white personality/knowledge, it might not be the best fit to moderate a bunch of lowly a$$hats.

Although I did not always agree with your view on everything.. I really appreciated it and often enjoyed the grounded perspective.

You take care Greg. I pop in here once in a while since I sold my Trail but don't really post since, well, I no longer have it LOL.

I moderated two different motorcycle websites back in the day and it's not as easy as some think AND you don't get paid LOL.

I've been on quite a few websites and this one is definitely one of my fav's. Great people here and you are one of them.
 
Sorry to see you go man. I haven't been here that long, and while I didn't agree with every decision, I think you did a fine job. You can't please everyone anyway. One thing's for sure, being a mod is hard work. Good luck in the future and I hope you stick around as a member once you get a little break.
 
You will be missed Greg. This forum is like a rudderless ship, and you got us back on course.

it doesn't feel right to "Like" this post, Greg. frankly the only thing i "like" about it is the idea that this (sudden?) decision is simply your way of moving forward, following your bliss.

i appreciated your efforts to herd the cats here... you'll be missed. best of luck and happy trails.
