So Im driving home from work today and start to notice my runner feels different. I would describe it as a bit sluggish but I had no CEL and no indication of a misfire. I decided to accel hard and see what would happen. I put the pedal to the floor and the CEL lite up and began flashing for a few seconds and then turned off. "Great" :redbrick: Im thinking. A few months ago I had a constant CEL with a code for the cat or O2 sensor( I dont remember the specific code). I just reset it myself and had not had it turn back on. So, the question is, is it the cat or something else?? Anyone had this issue before? I have fairly new plugs and wires ( within the last 5k) which are OEM and all other maintence is up to date. 1999 4Runner Limited V6 4 wheel drive. No previous issues. Any input would be great.
