Fast start up normal?

I just noticed my 4r is starting up on the first crank like almost instantaneously. It has happened a few times so far. Is there a potential problem?

Why would there be? layball:
Engine starting = good
Engine not starting = problem

As long as it doesn't start before you turn the key you should be OK.

Things just are not the same since they did away with carburetors with manual chokes.

If it seems odd to you, it probably is.
It could just be that you put some good fuel in and its starting like it's suppose to,
Or may be that your timing changed a little.
I believe it's normal for timing to adjust itself though. So unless you start experiencing problems, just smile and be happy it's going good!

MOne starts up right away as well, however I did have one evening that it did not fluke maybe......

Curious how did it start before?
