Fastener questions

I have a 1" body lift coming from ToyTec and was reading through the instructions. It talks about removing the panel under the dash that has a fastener with three holes in it. I can't figure out how to remove the fastener so I can remove the panel. The instructions also talk about removing the fasteners around the wheel wells. I'm hoping I can get some instruction on how to remove these fasteners before my body lift arrives.

If you can explain how to remove these without breaking them, it is appreciated.

More explanation on my fastener question

I thought I'd try to explain the fastener more. I saw a link to a 4 crawler on another site that showed a picture of the fastener with the three holes, but didn't explain on how to remove it. Hopefully this works, here is a link. It's about the 17th picture with a caption that says "screw that holds down side panels in front cabin."

I found a link to this site called "Toytec 1" Body Lift" that is in the 3rd Gen area, but the pictures say "image is currently unavailable". I was hoping they may show it, but his explanation says to pull from the front and the panel comes off. Mine needs to have this fastener removed first. If this works, here is the link..

So to explain further I I could. This panel goes from the floor to the dash, is sort of triangular. It has a foot of sorts at the bottom that makes a 90 degree bend from the side to the floor. This goes over a fastener, either a screw or pin, I can't tell which that is covered by a cap that has three holes in it. The 4 Crawler pictures did actually show this cap, but again didn't say how to remove it. I tried to pry on it with a screw driver and it moved, but I met enough resistance that I stopped in fear of breaking it. Maybe something, a special tool is needed to insert into the holes, or maybe even pressure from both sides of the screw or pin.

I suspect this is very simple, I just don't want to start breaking things on a new vehicle.

I figured it out. The cap with three holes is actually a plastic nut. It must require a special tool that fits into the 3 holes, but a needle nose pliers in two of them works just fine.
