Favorite mod?

i mean kind of.... like i don't have to swap in the 3.4L.... plus it looks better.... plus it's a 3rd gen that one January's Featured Runner.... i mean the evidence is pretty clear. Kid you own a '99, you know the true potential of awesomeness of the 3rd gen. I mean just sayin' guys. :plane:

Dude, my wife drives the '99. It's a girly truck. :flipoff:

my best mod to my 88 would have to be the Rear E-Locker. i tell my friends its the go anywhere button. its off only when i needed

To actually contribute to the thread, my favorite mod would be the OME lift i had on my truck. made a MAJOR improvement. Can't wait to lift my new truck :thumb:

@KidV, well the 3rd gen is awesome. I love it. The 3.4L really takes the cake.

A couple of my favorite are pretty simple. Removed that stupid door buzzer from under the dash that couldn't even hold a steady tone.. Also, jumped around the clutch start cancel because for some reason I always had to press it.

One more, AALs to replace the overload spring did wonders for ride and flex on the worn out leaf packs

I have several favorite mods. I love pockets and places to store stuff out of the way. I added a pocket to the rear door. Plan to add the same pockets on all the other doors as soon as i can get back to bone yard. I also love my drawer system and Powertank.

I also added an LED strip and festoon to the rear. Much brighter back there. You can also see rolls and rolls of velcro. Very handy.

elocker will fit any 8 inch axle housing, rear or front SA only. the mod wasnt hard but the 1st axle i picked up didnt work because the spring perches was too wide. i ended up picking up another axle and defently much easier the second time to cut. hardest part was drilling two new holes and tapping it. plenty of wiring setup you can do. i work with wires at work all the time so wiring and what not wasnt a problem. i can read wiring diagrams with ease.

got to have a zombie light switch. must see what im running over!!
