Feathering/ Scalloping Tires

Do you know how many ply the tires are? It sounds like your air pressure is too low.

After I had them rotated 2 weeks ago I haven't had any scalloping. Although I have this roar when I get to speeds higher then 30mph and a vibration that stops for a few days and then comes back. I haven't had the lbjs installed because they are still being shipped to my house, they should be here by this coming Tuesday. Could the noise be a bad wheel bearing?:help:

Yes it can be a wearing. Specially if u hear some notice when u turn and put ones weight in either side.

The Bridgestone 689 is a good tire, we call them lego tires because of the tread blocks, but I'd go with a BFG TA KO hands down over ANYTHING else 100 times over (and I run a tire shop.) Your situation is definitely a suspension problem like the fellas are talking about. Looking at the website for those whatever the hells you have on there now, my guess is its a 4 ply tire. I'd go with an LT 6ply minimum on my rig.. Hope you get it sorted out, best of luck to ya. :roadkill:

The weird part Is That it only happens over 30-50. (the excessive noise) once the speeds are over 60 MPH the noise goes away. I had BF Goodrichs Radial Long Trails on my truck originally. I changed them out because the rubber on the tread start having random parts missing. It looked like the tires were stabbed and pieces fell off.
